With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Dooley Monroe (Knoxville, Tennessee), born in Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on March 4, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Dorothy F. Dooley and James R. Dooley Sr.; her parents-in-law, Bobbie J. Monroe and Ralph H. Monroe; and her brother-in-law Stephen R. Monroe.

She is survived by : her husband Terry L. Monroe; her daughters, Emily J. Marcum (Keith) of Mount Juliet, TN and Tracy M. Patsel (Russell) of Bradenton, FL.; her sister-in-law Melissa Monroe Hodge (Craig) of Knoxville; her brothers, James R. Dooley Jr. (Suzie) of Wilmington, NC, Richard D. Dooley (Kathleen) of Satellite Beach, FL, John L. Dooley (Wanda) of Myrtle Beach, SC and William D. Dooley (Janet) of Pensacola, FL; and her pet Charlie. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
