He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barber and Vernie Ruth Barber; and his brothers, Willie Clyde Barber, Kenneth Andre Barber and Michael Lew Barber.
He is survived by: his children, Deterrion Parks, Jerrell Barber, Kenneth Dale, Marcus and Monica Barber; his grandchildren, Jullian Parks, Amiyah Parks, Kaden Parks, Camren Parks and Ka'Leah Dale; and his siblings, Joyce Ann Williams, Faye Wilson, Joretta Cuthbertson, Clarence Rufus Barber, Gary Douglas Barber and Henry Jerod Barber. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and many other family and friends.
