With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steve Gobrecht of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 29, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Steve Gobrecht to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his son Robert Stephen Gobrecht, Jr.; and his parents, Robert Dayton Gobrecht and Arnetta "Bonnie" Gobrecht. He is survived by: his wife Liz; his children, Adam, Beth and Bart; his grandchildren, Stephen Watkins, Grace Watkins and Jack Watkins; and his sisters, Joy Morris and Gayle Dorto. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Funeral Home and Cremations Farragut Chapel (11915 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37934).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Tunnels to Towers, or Wounded Warriors.
