He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Marshall and Charles Sharp. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Schmidt Sharp; his siblings, Sheryl Neiman, Kristi Sharp Vogt, Brian Sharp, Jeff Anderson and Scott Anderson; his daughters, Sara Martin and Ellen Sharp; and his nephews, Dylan Sharp and Connor Sharp. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
