She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Upchurch and Sylvia Upchurch; her husband Kenneth Carr; and her sisters, Maggie Bloomer, Dean Ernst, Kay Lawson, Wilma Upchurch and Jonnie O'Neal.
She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie Carr Sigmon and Amy Carr-Richardson; her sons-in-law, Tim Sigmon and Mark Richardson; her grandchildren, Andy Sigmon, Perry Sigmon and Cecilia Richardson; her granddaughter-in-law Rachel Sigmon; her great grandchild Ellie Sigmon; her sisters, Brenda Franklin and Alice Faye Marvin; her siblings-in-law, Ben Franklin and Darlene Upchurch; and her nephews, Ronnie Lawson, Bill Lawson, Jeff Bloomer and Matt Upchurch. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Grace Baptist Church.
