He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dyal and Lennis McCullough Dyal; his siblings, W. H. Dyal, Burrlan Dyal, Leon Dyal, Billie Grigsby (Bill), Carol Reeves (Chuck), Ann Davidson (Ted) and Liz Morgan (Lloyd); his granddaughter Taila Kneiser; and the mother of his children Diana "Suzy" Hamlett.
He is survived by: his children, Lennis Dyal (Paul Hughes) and Thomas Dyal (Ashley); his grandchildren, Mason Hughes, Zane Kneiser, Emily Dyal and Sierra Dyal; his great grandchild Natalie Dyal; and his sister Jean Ledbetter (Steve). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
