He was predeceased by: his parents, T. O. Schumpert and Lucy Schumpert; and his sister Billie Ruth Graves (Fred Graves Jr.). He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Truan Schumpert; his children, Scott Schumpert (Sally) and Laura Schumpert Raney (Mick); his grandsons, Thomas Grant Schumpert (McKenzie), Andy Schumpert (Kate Linn) and Ryan Schumpert; his great grandchildren, Kate Schumpert and Adrian Thomas Schumpert; his brother R. B. Schumpert (Susan); his brother-in-law Bill Truan (Mila); and his nieces and nephews, David Graves (Nancy), Debbie Parks (Mitch), Kim Schumpert and Amy Schumpert.
