He was predeceased by : his parents, Bessie Catlett and Amos Catlett; and his former life partner Vera Jo Catlett. He is survived by : his spouse Miss Vera Jo Miller; his son Chuck Catlett; his daughter-in-law Kathi Catlett; his grandson Richard Huffaker; his caregiver Misse McCullouch; and his friend Denny Brogan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Redemption Church, 3550 Pleasant Ridge Road, Knoxville, Tennessee 37921.
