She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Swann and Hilda Stinnett; her brothers, Robert "Bob" Swann and Billy Swann; her children, James Harlon Long and Jody Anna Louis Long; her daughter-in-law Sherry Long; her aunt Onita Bradley; her former husband James Edward Long; and her grandson Derek Ferrell.
She is survived by: her sons, Cletus "Ed" Long and Dewayne Long; her daughter-in-law Betsy Long; her siblings, Floyd Swann (Kathy), Barbra Edmonds (Eddie), James Swann, Jaeda Hutchinson (Greg) and Jason Swann (Jennifer); her sister-in-law Bertie Swann; her grandchildren, Chris Long, Samantha Long, Chelse Long (Shawn Harrison), Michael Long, Sarah Deaderick (Whitney Payne), Whittani Walden, Duncan Long, Mason Seeber, Hannah Dyer and Corrine Zager (Tony); and her great grandchild Wanda. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Bethel United Methodist Church (2004 Amherst Rd, Knoxville, TN 37921).
