He was predeceased by: his parents, Gib Parrott and Helen Parrott; his brother Bill "Teet" Parrott; and his parents-in-law, Sam and Alice Douglas.

He is survived by: his wife Gaye Douglas Parrott; his children, Amanda (Gerald May), Leigh (Brian Terry) and Joey (Tiffany Parrott); his grandchildren, Andy May, Brilee, Bryce, Brayden Terry and Lily Parrott; his siblings-in-law, Steve Douglas, Lois Douglas and Teresa Parrott; Steve Shields.
