William Copeland Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Copeland of Knoxville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2025 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Copeland to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrel Copeland and Bertha McCulley; and his brother Mac Copeland. He is survived by: his wife Donna Copeland; his children, Genie Moore (Marlon), Bill Copeland (Liza), Monte Copeland (Lisa) and April Upton (Darrell); and his grandchildren, Dacia Humphrey, Drew Upton, Dailee Upton, Jacob Copeland, Nick Copeland, Sophie Copeland, Todd Toler, Nickie Nelson, Christene Beeler, Holly Toler and Garon Moore. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home (2300 Adair Dr, Knoxville, TN 37918). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lynnhurst Cemetery (2300 Adair Dr, Knoxville, TN 37918).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Shriners Hospital for Children, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
