He was predeceased by: his former wife Stephanie Dalton; and his parents, William F. Dalton and Vira Lou Dalton. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Dalton; his siblings, Lou Ann Taylor (Harold), Jana Spicka (Chuck) and Darrell Dalton (Barbara); his stepson Chris Seay (Missi); his granddaughter Gabby Seay; and his pet Jack. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. A graveside service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
