She was predeceased by: her parents, John Scott and Velora McAdon Scott. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Daniel Higdon; her children, Cindy Lee Black, Ann Martin, Jimmie Weaver, Jr. and Brian Higdon; her siblings, Sandra Smitherman, Kathy Cleek (Paul) and John Scott (Janet); and her grandchildren, Ashlie Hooge, Clay Card, Joey Glanville and Kelli Martin. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
