He is survived by: his wife Gail Pack Petty; his children, Shelly Petty Adams (Kenneth) and Amanda Petty Adams (Donnie); his grandchildren, Gillus (Angelica), Alex (Becky), Malena, Cassie, Donnie (Katelynn) and Justin; his great grandchildren, Lily Rosie Adams and Tristan Brown; his siblings, Doyle Petty and Geraldine Yarber; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Bradley and Glenda Cameron (Buddy).
