She was predeceased by: her father Gene Knott; her husband Jack E. Whaley; her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Joyce Whaley; and her great grandchild Jackie Blayke Whaley (Kaila McWilliams).
She is survived by: her mother Hazel Knott; her children, Janie Lynn Lane (Bill) and Jamie Von Whaley (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Rusty Whaley (Amanda), Billy Joe Lane (Kristin), Amanda Huskey (Nick), Jackie Whaley (Andrew), Laura Whaley, Deron Whaley, Katie Ruggles (Philip) and Josh Wilson (Tori); and her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Carson, Lydia, Jake, Caroline, Lillianne, Parker, Preston, Gage, Collin, Lexi Jo, Jackson, Isabella, Alina and Huxley.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Farrar Funeral Home (162 E Meeting St, Dandridge, TN 37725). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of cut flowers, the family requests potted plants or donations to the Operation Christmas Child ministry.
