He is survived by: his children, Barbara Pitts (Allen) and Jan Rutledge (John); his grandchild Kyle Pitts (Niki); his children, Hannah Pitts and Karli Abbott (Nick); and his great grandchildren, Cooper and Blake Pitts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
