With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayland E. Dillon of La Vergne, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 20, 2025 at the age of 69. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Dillon and Norma Dillon; his stepmother Betty Dillon; his son-in-law James Pope; his brother-in-law Doug Lake; his niece Jamie Dillon; and his granddaughter Alonah Dillon.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Pope of La Vergne and Chad Dillon (Kaseye) of Mt; his siblings, Merilee Kennedy of Cadmus, Harlan Dillon (Debbie) of Tipton, Leon Dillon of Adrian and Sue Lake of Onsted, Michigan; and his grandchildren, Anne, Kallee Williams of Grass Lake, Aleazeah, Alden Dillon of Adrian, RyLeigh, Garrett and Holley Dillon of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
