It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Young of Lafayette, Tennessee, who passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Davis and Lillie Smith Davis (James Lewis Young); her grandson Shannon J. Latham; her siblings, Edward Davis and Virginia Davis; and her son-in-law Johnny Leonard Shipley.
She is survived by: her children, JoAnn Shipley of Lafayette, David Lewis Young of Gallatin and Leonard Young (Sally Granito) of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Travis J. Shipley (Darlene), Misty Young (Billy), Draven Young (Semira), Jordan Shipley (Makayla) and Aaron Shipley (Lindsey); and her great grandchild Mildred Cox.
Family request memorials be made to the Maple Grove Missionary Baptist Church #2.
