With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billie Grey Speck of Lafayette, Tennessee, who passed away on April 3, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Billie was predeceased by: wife Elizabeth "Liz" Ray Speck; son Steve Speck; parents, Joe May Speck and Janie Speck (Ledbetter); siblings, Ann Norris, Othel, Estes, Odis and Willie Pierce Speck; and sister-in-law Doris Milligan (Richard).
Billie is survived by: daughter Stacye Collins (Tim); grandchildren, Brooke Oglesby (John) and Trenton Collins (Jenna Meador) of Lafayette; great grandchild Tatum Gray Oglesby; brother Grady Speck (Doris) of Michigan; and brothers-in-law, Jim Ray (Jane) of Monterey and Robert Ray (Carol) of Michigan. Billie is also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews.
Family request memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Lafayette.
