He was predeceased by: his parents, Grethel C. Swindle and Mary Louise Dyer Swindle; his siblings, Donna Jane Carter, Leslie Randall Swindle and Barry Allen Swindle; his grandson Seth Alan Harrison; and his close friend Billy Merritt.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hagan Swindle; his children, Shelley Denise Holmes (Terry) and Todd Matthew Swindle (Stacy); and his grandchildren, Katelyn Brianna Terry (Ian) and Matthew Dalton Swindle (Kayla).
Family requests donations be made to The Scott Cemetery or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
