He is survived by: his wife Cathy Carr Hawkins; his sister Sue; his brother-in-law Larry Davenport of Hartsville; his brothers, Paul (Mary Alice Hawkins), Johnny (Billie Raye Hawkins) and Gary (Brenda Hawkins); his siblings-in-law, Brenda Robertson (Steve) of Lafayette, Patsy Bennett of Carthage, Betty Carol Carr of Hartsville, Freddy Carr of Hartsville, Jerry Carr of Bethpage, Raymond Carr of Lafayette and David Carr (Janet) of Lafayette; and his granddaughter Esme Jean Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great- nieces & great -nephews.
