He is survived by: his wife Melinda Smith Ferguson; his children, Krystal Sallee (Jason) of Lafayette, Kastonia Herron (Steve) of Lafayette and Shane Ferguson of Texas; his grandchildren, Adalyn Sallee, Corbin Sallee, Haleigh Eller (Tyler), Hunter Herron, Jacquelyn Ferguson and Kathryn Ferguson; his great grandchildren, Keegan, Stone Eller and Aspen Herron; his siblings, Nina Carter, Edwin Ether "Chigger" Ferguson (Judy) of Indianapolis, IN, Clarence Ferguson (Lorienda), Huey Randall Ferguson (Mary Anna) of Lafayette and Dewey Joe Ferguson (Jean Austin) of Franklin, TN; and his siblings-in-law, Bessie Ferguson of Lafayette, Geneva Ferguson and Tim Smith (Diana). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
