Genear was predeceased by: husband Arlis Carter; parents, Omer McPeak and Annie Jones McPeak; and siblings, Alene McPeak, James, Eldon and Ogene McPeak.
Genear is survived by: daughter Shelia Mantegani (Steve) of Hendersonville; grandchildren, Lindsey Thompson (Barrett), Jennifer Mantegani-Valiente (Fernando) and Anthony Mantegani (Lindsay); great grandchildren, Brody, Braxton Thompson, Ambrose, Antonio Mantegani-Valiente and Stevie Mantegani; and siblings, Shirley McPeak, Glen and Wayne McPeak. Genear is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
