He is survived by: his wife Karen Alecia Draper Warner; his sons, James Michael Warner IV (Daphne) and Matthew Edward Warner; and his siblings, Sister Jean Marie Warner, Margaret "Maggie" Kulback (Barry) and Patrick Warner (Laura). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family requests memorials be made to St. Cecilia Motherhouse.
