He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Johnson and Clara Cravins Johnson; his wife Ruby Johnson; and his siblings, Ricky Johnson, Danny Johnson, Frank Johnson, Jr., Larry Johnson, Linda Kimbel and Joyce Faye Payne.
He is survived by: his siblings, Billy Johnson and Lois Ann Davis (Gary Todd); and his stepdaughters, Melissa Ferguson and Melinda Alexander. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Woodard Funeral Home (5591 US-31E, Westmoreland, TN 37186). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
