He is survived by: his wife Janie Marie Sullins Goss of Lafayette, TN.; his children, Lorretta Maria Ruiz of Hendersonville, TN, Jose Luis Ruiz, Jr. (Angie) of Macon County, TN, John Manuel Ruiz (Stephanie) of Macon County, TN and Larry E. Goss, Jr. (Alethea) of Macon County, TN.; his grandchildren, Samantha, Dillin, Dakota, Dallas, Janie Jo, Jada, Jessica, Jeremy, Kayla, Karrisa, Michael Cole, Piper and Ripp; his great grandchildren, Blake, Rylan, Jacob, Zaden, Kayson, Bentley, Jade, Gunter, Josie, Morris May, Wyatt and Ryder; and his brothers, Douglas Goss, Jr. (Susan) and Avery Goss (Siniece).
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Home (71 E Main St, Gordonsville, TN 38563). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
