It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Ann Atkins of Lafayette, Tennessee, who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Laura Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Laura Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her father Willie Delmus Atkins. She is survived by: her mother Shirley Jane Atkins of Lafayette; her sister Wendy Michelle Cothron (Dwight) of Hartsville; and her nephews, Kyle Alexander Cothron (Elizabeth) of Bowling Green, KY and Jacob Logan Cothron (Azul) of Colorado. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home & Memorial Park - Lafayette (997 Hwy 52 E, Lafayette, TN 37083). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Family requests memorials be made to the Lafayette Church of Christ Youth Fund.
