He was predeceased by: his former wife Virgie Freeman Dyer; his wife Minnie Parker Dyer; his sons, Jackie Dyer and Danny Dyer; his parents, Sidney Mitchell Dyer and Emily Parker Dyer; and his siblings, S. M. Dyer, Grandville Dyer, Chester Lee Dyer, Arnett Dyer, Carl Dyer, Jessie Dyer, Brandle Dyer, Randle Dyer and Myrtle Dyer.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Jane Tuttle (Jerry), Judy Dyer, Peggy Sutton (Bobby), Patricia Holland (James), Chester Dyer and David E. Dyer (Donna A.); and his brother Charlie Dyer (Betty Sixteen). He is also survived by Sixteen Grandchildren, and Numerous Great Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren.
