He is survived by: his wife Shirley Cantrell of Lafayette; his children, Melvin Cantrell (Sharon) of Portland, Shellia Cantrell (Billy Gregory) of Westmoreland and Tersia Craig (Jeff) of Portland; his stepgrandsons, Ronnie Whittemore (Tammie) and Ricky Whittemore; his pet Brenda; his brother Larry Scruggs of Mount Pleasant, TN; and his sister-in-law Norma Jean Cantrell of Portland. He is also survived by Numerous Grandchildren, Nieces & nephews.
