He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Knight and Iva Jones Knight; his siblings, Louise Hire, Dorothy Law and Aaron Knight; his siblings-in-law, Randall Barton and Becky Goad; and his nephew Nicky Goad.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Barton Knight; his sisters, Sammie Moore, JoNell Fisher, Clara Knight and Carolyn Morgan (Ronnie); his brother-in-law Jimmy Goad; his siblings' children, Beth Copas (Chris) and Randy Goad (Hayley); and his great-nephews, Raylan Goad and Blake Butcher.
