It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Gentry Lyons of Lafayette, Tennessee, who passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Lyons; her parents, O. J. Gentry and Estell Gentry (Etheridge); and her brothers, Dennis Gentry and Gene Gentry, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Penny Lyons Reid (Mark Reece), Paula Sircy (Robert Grace) of Whitleyville, James Lyons of Summer Shade, KY and Paul Lyons (Jennifer) of Nashville; and her siblings, Louis Gentry (Joyce) of Lafayette and Ann Pippin of Gallatin. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren.
