In the vast expanse of eternity, Brenda shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Brenda farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband James T. "Jim" Powell, Jr.; her parents, Oscar Lee and Pearl Ann Kidwell (Brandenburg); and her siblings, Thomas Kidwell, Jack Kidwell and Lola Ridenour.
She is survived by: her children, Tracey Powell and James Powell, III (Treena); and her siblings, Harold Kidwell, Troy Kidwell (Bonnie), Atlas Pyles and Lois Wilson. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Walters Funeral Home - LaFollette (509 E Central Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
