He was predeceased by: his wife Georgia Lee Daugherty; his parents, Lee Daugherty and Susie Hayes Daugherty; his granddaughter Valerie Hill; and his siblings, Lee, Roland, Ronnie Joe, Bonnie, Joyce and Myrl.

He is survived by: his children, Peggy (Ronnie Willis Mary), Robert Lee Daugherty and Thola James Daugherty (Jennifer). He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren Several Great Grandchildren Several nieces and nephews.
