He was predeceased by: his parents, William Paris Cooper (Reub) and Sarah Margaret Grant Cooper (Maggie); and his siblings, Phyllis Landrum, Delsie Faye Dagley, Ruth Cook, Kermit, Clifford, James, Vaughn, Roscoe, Raymond and William Cooper (Bill).
He is survived by: his uncle Donnie; his wife Bernice Miller Cooper; and his children, Kathy Rae Van (Cookie), Karen Denise Cooper (Jim McRae) of Fort Collins, Kimala Ann Cooper (Kim) of Pickerington, Donald Randall Cooper (Randy) of Lexington, Sonya Sue (Sonnie), Andolino (Frank) of Galveston and Darin Keith Cooper (Kellie) of LaFollette. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the High Knob Baptist Church (973 S High Knob Rd, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bakers Forge Cemetery (2681 Demory Rd, LaFollette, TN 37766).
