He is survived by: his wife Eloise Whitsitt; his children, Lynn Whitsitt (Brandi) of Norwood, GA and Julie (Patrick Ault) of LaFollette, TN.; his grandchildren, Nathan Whitsitt (Destiny), Jacob Whitsitt, Kody Whitsitt, Lyndsi Taylor, Will Cushman, Alyssa McCoy, Josh Dunbarr (Kat), Zack Dunbarr (Sam), Cierra Dunbarr (George), Kayti Metzger (Jeremy) and Bryson Ault8; his brother Garry Whitsitt (Gary Lee); and his in-laws, Paul, Bonnie Parker, Fred and Alice Sheats.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the West LaFollette Baptist Church (335 West Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
