He was predeceased by: his wife Frankie Lawson; his parents, McKinley Lawson and Regina Greene Lawson; his siblings, Ida Cairns, Boyd Lawson and Jim Lawson; and his grandsons, Alex Lawson and Chris Lawson.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda Lawson Snodgrass (Bill Snodgrass), Ron Lawson (Elizabeth Asbury Lawson) and Jerry Lawson (Debra Nelson Lawson); and his grandchildren, Matt Lawson, Wrylin Snodgrass, Raley Snodgrass, Jeremy Lawson and Porshia Griffith.
