She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Cillis Russell; her children, Harold David Russell, Tom, Joe, Bobby Russell and June Williams; her parents, Alonzo Shown and Emma Shown (Moses); her siblings, Ida Belle Shown, Irene Ballard, Letha Fraley, Clayton Shown, Avery Shown, Frank Shown and Bill Shown; and her grandchildren, Jerry Phillips, Vicky Joan Lovell, Tom Russell, Jr., Pamela Russell, Susan Russell and Lana Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Russell (Gail), Rev. Larry Russell (Brenda) and Jean Daugherty (Virgil); her grandchildren, Matthew, Abby, Rebecca, Aaron, Chris, Donna, Joyce, Janet, Kathy, Joey, Gloria Jean and Beth; her siblings, Odessa Emory and Ed Shown; her daughter-in-law Teresa Russell Padget; and her caregivers, Carolyn and Michael Lowe. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, her beloved church family, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fundamental Missionary Baptist Church (597 Wildwood Cir, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at the Campbell Memorial Gardens (145 Dossett Ln, Jacksboro, TN 37757).
