With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack C. Lay of Lafollette, Tennessee, who passed away on July 27, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samp Lay and Hester Lay; and his siblings, Helen Hill, Betty Woods, Irene Davis, Joe Lay and Paul Lay.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Asbury Lay; his children, Heather Lay Perry (Jon Perry), Michael Lay and James Ladd (Hoss); his grandchildren, Jaxson, Maddox, Levi, Courtney and Haley; and his sister Sara Powers (Billy).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the LaFollette Church of God (1906 Jacksboro Pike, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
