He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferris Dagley and Ethel Dagley of Grantsboro, TN; and his sisters, Betty Hatmaker, Dorthy Roberts, Shirley Harper, Iva Pippin and Margaret Dagley.

He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ausmus Dagley; and his daughters, Sarah (Christian Clarke) and April (Charlie Bozeman). He is also survived by special friends and neighbors.
