He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Gibson; his son Christopher David Gibson; his parents, Everett Gibson and Agnes Stanford Gibson; and his brother Wayne Gibson.
He is survived by: his son Dewayne (Andrea Gibson); his grandchildren, Alexis, Christian, Megan, Tabitha, Dewayne and Cody; and his siblings, Billy, Ben, George Gibson, Judy Walden, Barbara Adkins Gail Paul, Regina Boshears and Teresa Manis. He is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, Other Relatives.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cross-Smith Chapel Cross-Smith Funeral Home (300 E Central Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
