In the sacred silence of farewell, Joe is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joe's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Hugh Hooper and Doris Nadine Hooper (Whitman); and his sisters, Joyce Fears and Regina Keating. He is survived by: his children, Joey Hooper, JoAnne Pettus (David) and T. J. Hooper (Melanie); and his sister Louise Singleterry. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
