He is survived by: his wife Donna McGhee Thornton; his daughter Christy Thornton Carroll (Will); his grandson Zeke Carroll (Steven); his brothers, Darryl Thornton (Janet) and Greg Thornton (Shannon); his sisters-in-law, Brenda McGhee and Kay Rippy (Terry West); and his nieces and nephews, Meredith, Taylor and Tanner.
