He is survived by: his wife Sandra Thompson; his children, Tim Thompson, Tammy Wynette Smart (Barry) and Paul Alexander Thompson (Kristi); his siblings, Mack Thompson, Douglas McArthur Thompson, Nellie Mae Johnson and Mary Ann Willoughby; and his mother-in-law Gloria Brillhart. He is also survived by several Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
