With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rebecca Ayers of Lafollette, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Curt Brandenburg; and her sister Debbie Campbell. She is survived by: her husband James Wendell Ayers; her son Kevin Ayers (Kila Chantal); her grandson Daniel Wayne Ayers; her stepgrandchildren, Jordan Metcalf, Shalun Daniels and Mattea King; her stepgreat-grandson Greyson King; her mother Vollena Brandenburg; her siblings, Peggy Ayers (Darryl), Franklin Brandenburg (Lisa), Larry Brandenburg (Tracy), DeWayne Brandenburg and Don Bruce (Beverly); and her close friends, Tammy Bostic and Brenda Weaver.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walters Funeral Home - LaFollette (509 E Central Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stanfield Church of God (153 Old Stinking Crk Rd, LaFollette, TN 37766). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at the Melvin Cemetery (480 County Rd 136, Melvin, TX 76858).
