He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard McGhee and Louise Byrge McGhee; his grandparents, Alex and Rosa Byrge; and his brothers, Bobby McGhee, Otis McGhee and Steve McGhee.
He is survived by: his son Rodney McGhee (Maria); his grandchildren, Tate McGhee (Candace) and Lily Rae McGhee; his great grandchild Alora Kaye McGhee; and his siblings, Rosa Miller, Eugene McGhee and Raymond McGhee (Myrtle).
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the High Street Baptist Church (307 N 15th St, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bakers Forge Cemetery.
