She was predeceased by : her parents, Newman Ford and Evelyn Moffett Ford; her grandparents, Byrd, Mary Ford, Perlie Woodson and Archie Moffett; her brother Bill Ford; and her nephew Wendell Bailey.

She is survived by : her siblings, Marvin Ford (Alice), Eddie Ford (Janice), Larry Ford and Brenda Bailey (Elwood); and her close friend Gregg Woodson. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
