He was predeceased by: his parents, Emsley Joe and Clara Lee Lay Silcox; and his brothers, Marvin Silcox and Morris Silcox. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Bunch Silcox; his sons, Erik Silcox and Wesley Silcox; and his sibling's children, Kathy Murray, Karen Ellison and Clifton Murray.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked memorial contributions be made to Cross-Smith Funeral Home to offset funeral expense.
