He is survived by: his children, James, Tom Cox, Shelia Pierce (Jim), Regina Kelly (John) and Tara Massengill (Jason); his daughter-in-law Lisa Cox; his brother Benny Cox (Wilma); and his grandchildren, Brandon Cox, Carson Pierce, Colby Cox, Patrick Massengill, Stephanie Wasson, Heather Cox, Kimberly Cox, Rory York, Cassadie Cox and Elizabeth Cox.
