She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Lynn Chavis; her son Roger Paul Chavis; her parents, L. D. Chadwell and Ellen Chadwell Clouse (Stepp); her stepfather Archie Clouse; her siblings, Robert Chadwell, Michael Chadwell and Janice Bailey; and her brothers-in-law, Stanley Bailey, Bobby Bolinger and Marshall Goins.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Glandon (Robert), Michael Chavis (Melanie) and Zander Lewis; her grandchildren, Michael Dawson Chavis, Roger Chavis, Jr., Dameon Chavis, Victoria Chavis, Isabella Chavis and Nevaeh Goodman; her great grandchild Kinsley Chavis; her sisters, Teresa Chadwell Goins, Debbie Adkisson (Bryan), Brenda Chadwell, Carolyn Murray (Audie), Patricia Shelley and Talia Clouse; and her siblings' children, Tim Bolinger, Angie Bean, Tonya Hembree, Leona Cochran of Brittany Brummitt, J. R, Adkisson, Mark Bailey and Kevin Bailey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walters Funeral Home - LaFollette (509 E Central Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chadwell Cemetery.
