With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Evelyn Brown of Lake City, Tennessee, who passed away on October 18, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jo may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jo touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Morris Brown (Whitey); and her sister Lucina Smith. She is survived by: her children, Vicki Joetta Sander (Jimm Sander) and Kevin James Brown (Sarah Brown); and her sisters, Margine Stevens and Condine Foust. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
